COMMUNITY CLEANLINESS DRIVE: REDUCE PLASTIC USE STREET CAMPAIGN

Organized By: District Legal Services Authority, Serchhip; NSS Unit; Eco Club; and Swachh Bharat Unit of Government Serchhip College

The Community Cleanliness Drive aimed to promote environmental awareness and reduce plastic use within the Serchhip community through active participation of students and faculty members.

The drive was divided into three main work areas:

1. College Gate to New Serchhip Community Hall

Participants: 6th Semester Students

Teacher-in-Charge: Mrs. Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte, Mrs. Malsawmtluangi, Mr. Laldinpuia Rokhum 

2. New Serchhip Traffic Point to Futsal Ground

Participants: 4th Semester Students

Teacher-in-Charge: Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, Dr. S. Beihrosa, Mr. Andrew Lalchullova

3. IOC to Futsal Ground

Participants: 2nd Semester Students

Teacher-in-Charge: Dr. C. Vanlalnghaka, Dr. Lalrosanga, Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte

Students cleaned designated areas, picking up plastic waste and non-biodegradable litter. The program successfully engaged students in fostering teamwork and raised awareness about reducing plastic waste, contributing to a cleaner and greener Serchhip.
