In line with the nation's unwavering commitment to unity and integrity, Government Serchhip College NSS and Chhiahtlang Higher Secondary School NSS jointly organized a commemorative event on National Unity Day, on 29th October , 2024, at Chhiahtlang Higher Secondary School.

With India's rich cultural diversity, Dr. H Lalchhanhima, NSS Programme Officer, Government Serchhip College, delivered an enlightening address, unraveling the significance and story behind the observance of National Unity Day.

In a symbolic gesture of solidarity, 53 volunteers, 25 males & 28 females accompanied by NSS Programme Officers from both institutions, took the National Unity Day pledge, reaffirming their dedication to the country's unity and integrity.

S. Beihrosa, NSS Programme Officer, Government Serchhip College, expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers, acknowledging the collaborative efforts that made the joint programme a resounding success.
