The Department of Botany, Government Serchhip College hosted a commemoration program on 10th February 2025 to observe the 41st death anniversary of Janaki Ammal. The event took place in Room B102, Academic Block, GSC, and was presided over by Dr. K. Lalhmingsangi.

As part of the program, Laltanpuii, a 6th-semester B.Sc. Botany student, delivered an informative presentation on the life and contributions of Janaki Ammal. The session concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel.
