On February 14, 2025, a River Clean-Up Drive was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Serchhip, in collaboration with the Government Serchhip College Youth Adventure Club and Yuva Tourism Club. The initiative focused on cleaning the Luirálmawi riverbank at New Serchhip.

Participants actively collected plastic waste, polythene bags, and other non-biodegradable materials from the riverbank and surrounding areas. The drive proved to be a great success, with over 20 kg of plastic waste gathered and properly disposed of. A total of 100 members took part in the initiative, contributing to the collective effort of fostering a cleaner and greener environment.
