A programme commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was jointly organized by My Bharat, Serchhip and Government Serchhip College on 25 September 2025 at the Seminar Hall of the college.

The programme highlighted the life and contributions of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, with particular emphasis on Integral Humanism, Antyodaya, social responsibility, self-reliance and nation-building.

Ms. Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, served as the Resource Person and spoke on the relevance of these values in contemporary society. She encouraged students to become responsible citizens and actively contribute to the welfare and development of society.

The programme provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the importance of service, civic responsibility and youth participation in nation-building. The event concluded with an emphasis on building a responsible and inclusive society.
