CAREER AWARENESS PROGRAMME AT GOVERNMENT SERCHHIP HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

The NSS Unit of Government Serchhip Higher Secondary School, in collaboration with the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, Government Serchhip College, organized a Career Awareness Programme at Government Serchhip Higher Secondary School on 5th June 2026. The programme was attended by students of Classes XI and XII, who actively participated in the session.

The programme aimed to broaden students' understanding of the various educational and career opportunities available after higher secondary education and to help them make informed decisions regarding their future. The resource persons, Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, Mrs. Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte, and Dr. Zarzosanga, delivered insightful presentations on career planning, higher education pathways, skill development, and the importance of aligning one's interests and abilities with career choices.

The speakers also highlighted emerging career opportunities in different fields and encouraged students to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for success in an increasingly competitive world. The interactive session provided students with valuable guidance, allowing them to clarify doubts and gain a better understanding of the steps required to achieve their career goals.

The programme was well received by the participants and served as a meaningful platform for motivating students to plan their futures with confidence and purpose.
