The Department of Botany, GSC is pleased to announce that the title of “Student of the Month” for July and August 2025 has been conferred upon Ms. Vansangpuii Sailo, V Semester Botany, in recognition of her excellent performance in Class Tests and her active involvement in co-curricular activities.

The Student of the Month Award has been one of the Department’s best practices since the COVID-19 period, instituted with the aim of fostering academic diligence, encouraging participation in co-curricular engagements, and promoting overall student development. By consistently acknowledging and rewarding merit, the initiative seeks to nurture a culture of excellence and healthy competition among the students.

In appreciation of her achievements, Ms. Vansangpuii received a cash award of ₹300 per month, which was graciously presented by the respected Principal of the College Mr. C. Laldintluanga on 12th September 2025.
