The Department of Botany, Government Serchhip College, renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) on 13th October 2026.

The renewal aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions and promote academic cooperation, agricultural extension activities, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The collaboration will provide opportunities for students and faculty members to participate in internship programmes, invited lectures, field visits, practical learning activities and other programmes related to agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

The renewed MoU will remain valid for one year, from 13th October 2026 to 12th October 2027.

The renewal marks an important step towards strengthening institutional collaboration, providing students with practical exposure through internship opportunities, and enhancing their knowledge of agriculture and sustainable farming practices.
