On 11th October 2024, the Serchhip District Quick Response Team (QRT) conducted a Basic First Aid training at the DC's Office Meeting Hall. Lalawmpuia, the Youth Adventure Club (YAC) Leader and a member of the QRT, participated in the training.

The goal of the training was to equip the QRT members with essential first-aid skills to effectively respond to emergencies. The program was led by special invitees from the District Hospital Serchhip and included the following components:  
- Lecture sessions  
- Practical demonstrations  
- Hands-on training  
- Case studies and group discussions  

The training covered key topics such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), managing bone fractures, bandaging, and triaging.
