The Anti-Ragging Cell of Government Serchhip College organised an Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme on 27 August 2026 at Block B-102.

The programme aimed to sensitise students to the harmful effects of ragging and promote a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.

The programme was chaired by Dr. Rebecca Lalngaihawmi of the Department of Physics. Mr. RLC Khawlianthawma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mizo, served as the resource person and delivered an informative session on the importance of preventing ragging, harassment and violence within the college.

Students were encouraged to uphold the principles of mutual respect, dignity and friendship and to contribute actively to the development of a ragging-free campus. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for all students.
