Government Serchhip College is immensely proud of its students, Vanlalzawni, 6th Semester, Department of Education and Evelyn Lalduhzuali, 4th Semester, Department of History for winning the 1st and 3rd prizes in the State-Level Essay Competition for College Students, organized under the Special Campaign on Public Education on Environmental Protection, Conservation Laws, and Sustainable Practices, held in February 2025. The competition, with the theme 'Solid Waste Management: The Most Practical and Sustainable System for My Village,' was organized by the Mizoram State Legal Services Authority. Both students attended the closing function of the special campaign at the Gauhati High Court, Aizawl Bench, on 13th March 2025, where they received their prizes. 

This achievement is a well-deserved reward for their dedication and obedience. We encourage them, along with other students, to participate in more competitions within their reach.
