Introductory classes for Add-On Courses for the Academic Session 2025–2026 were successfully conducted at Government Serchhip College on 11th July 2025 at 2:00 PM. A total of 14 Add-On Courses were introduced as part of the college’s initiative to enhance student skills beyond the regular curriculum.

The courses offered include:

2. Personality Development
3. Life Skills/Career Development
4. Basic Science Bridge Course
5. Indian Knowledge System (IKS)
6. Public Speaking
7. Self Defense Class
8. Basic Excel Skills
9. Spoken English
10. Crochet Making
11. Tailoring & Easy Sewing Techniques
12. Lifestyle & Wellness Management
13. Remedial Class
14. Chess Course

Each course was introduced by the designated resource persons in their respective rooms. The resource persons, including Dr. Lalchhuanawma, Dr. Zarzosanga, Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte, Malsawmtluangi, F. Lalengzauvi, Dr. Marlyn Lalnunmawii Sailo, Benjamin Chinzah, Vanlaldingheta Varte, Lalmalsawmi, Lalrempuii, C. Lalnundiki, R. Lalthanlawmi, Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, and others, oriented students on the objectives, benefits, and structure of the courses.

The sessions were coordinated by the Course Chairpersons and Co-ordinators under the supervision of the CCA Committee. This orientation marked the beginning of an enriching academic journey aimed at skill enhancement and overall development of the students.
