The "Meet the Alumni" event at Government Serchhip College was held on August 9th, 2024, at 10:00 AM in Room B-202 of the Academic Block. Attended by 5th Semester students, the program was presided over by Dr. Zarzosanga and began with a warm welcome address from the Principal, C. Laldintluanga. Mr. Vanlalchanchinthahrilmawia, President of the Alumni Association, also expressed his gratitude for the successful organization of the event.

The featured resource person for the event was PC Lalnunzira, a 2020 BSc Zoology graduate who has since become a prominent sports adventure enthusiast, environmental advocate, and popular YouTuber in Mizoram. Zira PC, who also completed his Master's degree in Environmental Science from Mizoram University in 2022, shared his personal journey during his college years, emphasizing the challenges he faced and the determination that helped him overcome them. His story resonated with the students, offering inspiration and practical advice for navigating their academic and personal lives.

In addition to Zira, three other distinguished alumni from the 2021 and 2022 batch also shared their experiences and insights. Vanlalchhuansangi, who secured the 3rd rank in MSc Mathematics, Judithi Lalchanpuii, the 6th rank holder in MSc Biotechnology, and R. Lalmuanpuia, who achieved the 6th rank in MA Geography, in 2024, all spoke passionately about their time at the college. They highlighted the crucial role played by the dedicated faculty and encouraged current students to persevere through any difficulties they might encounter, reassuring them that persistence and hard work would ultimately lead to success.

The event was not only informative but also interactive and engaging, fostering a sense of connection between the current students and the alumni. The program concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte, marking the end of a meaningful and motivating session.
