The 4th GSC Ethics Day was observed on 3 September 2026 during the CCA period as part of the Annual Week Kick-off. In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, this year’s theme was “Ethics in Sports.”

Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, delivered an insightful talk on the theme. She highlighted the importance of fair play, honesty, respect, discipline and sportsmanship, emphasising that ethical values in sports extend beyond winning and losing and help shape responsible individuals and a healthy sporting culture.

The programme concluded with an Ethics in Sports Pledge, led by Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte. All students rose from their seats and joined in the pledge, reaffirming their commitment to fairness, integrity, respect and responsible participation in sports.
