2-DAY CULTURAL FESTIVAL- CHAPCHAR KUT CELEBRATION AT GSC

A vibrant two-day cultural festival was held at Government Serchhip College on March 5th and 6th, 2025, to celebrate Chapchar Kut. The event, organized by the Department of Mizo, Phunchawng Cultural Club, and Art Club, featured a variety of activities showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Mizoram.

Both days saw staff and students elegantly dressed in traditional Mizo attire, adding vibrancy and charm to the already beautiful campus.

Day 1: March 5, 2025
Mizo Culture Exhibition at College Park, organized by Phunchawng Cultural Club, displayed traditional artifacts, clothing, and cultural elements.
Photography & Painting Competition, where participants showcased their artistic talents.
Quiz Competition on Mizoram Context began in the IQAC Room and continued on Day 2, concluding with enthusiastic participation.


Day 2: March 6, 2025
Phunchawng Cultural Club Motto Writing Competition, encouraging creative expressions of cultural values.
Traditional Dance Show & Prize Distribution at the Academic Ground, featuring vibrant performances and recognition of outstanding participants.
The event emphasized the significance of Mizo traditions, fostering cultural pride among students and teachers. Mizo traditional attire was the dress code, enhancing the festival's authenticity. The celebration concluded with a spirit of joy and unity, making it a memorable occasion for all.
