On October 11th, 2024, the Serchhip District Quick Response Team (QRT) conducted a Basic First-Aid training at the DC's Office Meeting Hall. Mr. Lalawmpuia, the leader of the Government Serchhip College Youth Adventure Club, and member of teh QRT participated in the training.

The purpose of the training was to equip QRT members with essential skills to effectively respond to emergencies. The program was led by special invitees from District Hospital Serchhip and featured:

- Lecture sessions
- Practical demonstrations
- Hands-on training
- Case studies and group discussions

Key topics covered during the session included Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), treating bone fractures, bandaging techniques, and triaging.
