NSS VOLUNTEER STATE AWARD WON BY GSC STUDENT

Government Serchhip College takes immense pride in announcing that our distinguished student, C.Malsawmtluanga, has been conferred the prestigious NSS Volunteer State Award 2023 to 2024. This esteemed honor was bestowed upon him  by the Chief Guest, Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, Hon'ble Minister,  Sports & Youth Services Department etc., Mizoram in a ceremony of 55th NSS Foundation Day held at Vanapa Hall on 24th September,  2024.

The award carries a memento, certificate  and a cash award of Rs. 10,000, recognizing his exemplary contributions as an NSS Volunteer. His remarkable accomplishments during his collegiate tenure include:
- Donating blood on eight occasions
- Planting 20 saplings
- Participating in two NSS special camps during the year 2022 to 2024
- Engaging in numerous community service initiatives under the NSS umbrella

His selfless dedication and altruistic endeavors have earned him this distinguished recognition. We  wish him continued success in his future pursuits.

We also express our deepest gratitude to our Principal, faculty and NSS Programme Officers for their mentorship and guidance, which have been instrumental in shaping his commitment to community service and social responsibility.

Notably, this accolade marks the second consecutive NSS Volunteer State Award secured by Government Serchhip College, underscoring our institution's unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and civic engagement. May this achievement inspire us to continue nurturing a spirit of selflessness and community service among our students.
