FDP ORGANIZED BY FACULTY AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

On July 31st, 2024, a faculty development program was held to enhance faculty skills in academic data management and analytics, with Mr. Lalhmingmawia Kawlni, Assistant Professor from the Computer Science Department as the resource person. The program aimed to orient teachers on a new system for maintaining attendance and marks entry, improving systematic monitoring of these records. Key highlights included a comprehensive orientation on the new system and the introduction of Google Sheets for departmental coordinators to manage academic data. The program emphasized the importance of monthly monitoring of attendance and internal marks and the role of departmental coordinators in maintaining data accuracy and consistency. The well-received program provided teachers with valuable insights and equipped them with the necessary skills to implement the new system effectively, marking a significant improvement in the institution's data management practices. This initiative is part of the institution's ongoing efforts to enhance faculty and staff capabilities with the latest tools and techniques in academic data management and analytics.
