Govt. Serchhip College is an Under Graduate degree college established in 1973. It was affiliated to North Eastern Hill University in 1975. The college was provincialised on 1st January 1989 and subsequently affiliated to Mizoram University when the university was established in 2001. The college was declared accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on 8th January 2011 with ‘B’ Grade status and re-accredited on 2016 with ‘B+’ grade.
